Revoke Degrees for McGill Fraud by Simran Hotchandani Sanon & Serena Sanon

The Issue

As a parent who has paid substantial international student fees for my children to attend university, I am deeply concerned about the integrity of our educational institutions.

My children have rightfully and honestly paid the fees that were designated for them, without usurping the rights of local residents to their designated fees.

However, it has come to light that Simran Hotchandani Sanon and Serena Sanon have committed identity fraud in misrepresenting their identities as Canadian residents to obtain illegal access to lower tuition fees reserved for Canadian residents.

Their committed identity fraud has deprived Canadian residents of their rightful access to education and scammed admissions at McGill University.

This fraudulent act not only undermines the credibility of McGill University but also devalues the efforts of honest students who work hard to earn their degrees. It is estimated that identity fraud costs Canadians up to $3 billion annually (Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre), a staggering figure which underscores how serious this issue is.

We call upon McGill University to take immediate action by revoking any degrees awarded under false pretenses to Simran Hotchandani Sanon and Serena Sanon. Furthermore, we urge stringent sanctions be placed on future applications from these individuals in order to uphold academic integrity.

Stand with us in demanding justice for all honest students who pay their dues fairly.
