The vibrant colors and iconic character of Ronald McDonald were a magical experience that defined my childhood and brought so much joy to countless other kids in their visits to McDonald’s Play Places across America. Remember those years from the 70's through the early 2000s with multi-colored indoor Play Places, the cheerful Ronald McDonald on the logo, and the golden arches inviting us in with warmth and excitement?

When McDonald’s shifted from these grand elements, something special was lost. The current, more subdued designs lack the whimsy and appeal that once made family outings an adventure. The original Play Place with its dynamic colors wasn’t just a playground, it was an experience, fostering fun, friendship, and countless cherished memories.

Bringing back that original spirit can reinstate that sense of wonder for future generations. Reviving the colorful designs and the joyous mascot can help cultivate a welcoming environment inclusive for everyone.

The colorful Play Places were not just visually appealing but helped define McDonald’s as a space of happy family memories and connections. Many of us grew up with Ronald McDonald as a dear part of our special outings, and now, our children deserve this same enchanting experience.

To make this happen, we urge McDonald's to revive the original Play Place designs, bring back Ronald McDonald on advertisements and logos, restore the colorful playgrounds, and replicate the magic of the golden arches that once stood as a universal symbol of happiness.

Join us in petitioning McDonald's to bring back these cherished elements and make their Play Places places of joy once more! Please sign this petition to make a difference for future generations.
