We are aiming to hold a mini market in late February to get more signatures and present to council. The reality is parts of the church are in disrepair and we need to a little work before the grounds are market ready. We hope that the success of this petition will translate into support from council to make this happen.

Reviving the markets will be a huge boost to the local economy. Many businesses are suffering from high rents, cost of living pressures. Bringing people back into Balmain regularly can only help our retailers and restauranteurs on Darling Street.
