In 2020, Netflix announced an adaptation of Kiera Cass's much-loved book 'The Selection' into a movie, causing hearts to flutter with anticipation globally. Fans of the book series, including myself, were thrilled to see our beloved characters come to life on screen. However, this excitement turned to disappointment when Netflix quietly dropped the project, leaving us with nothing but unfulfilled promises.

The Selection series has captured the hearts of millions with its enchanting tale of love, courage, and resilience. Set in a dystopian future, it tells the story of America Singer, a young woman chosen to compete for the heart of a prince in a world divided by castes. The themes of determination and romance resonate deeply with readers from all walks of life. Yet, the announcement of its adaptation being dropped has left a gaping hole in our hearts and quelled the excitement of many dedicated fans.

By choosing not to move forward with this project, Netflix has disregarded a vibrant community of fans who are eager to see 'The Selection' on screen. We deserve to have our dreams realized and see the compelling narrative unfold as visualized by a talented cast and crew

Reviving this project would not only bring joy to the scores of fans who have been waiting patiently, but it is also a promising venture for Netflix. The book series has a strong fan base, a fact supported by its impressive sales—over 11 million copies worldwide, according to Harper Collins. This project has the potential to replicate the success of other popular series such as 'The Hunger Games' and 'Divergent'.

Let's show Netflix the passion and enthusiasm that the fanbase still feels for it. With your support, we can highlight this demand to Netflix and encourage them to reconsider their decision. Let us bring this enchanting world to life on our screens.
