In the late 1980s a cultural phenomenon graced our television screens during commercial breaks. A certain dapper character that reflected the sleek and innovative time that was 80s pop culture. His presence was aesthetically pleasing, yet also made you hungry. Whether you were eating McDonalds for breakfast, lunch, one such person made you want Mac TONIGHT. 

Of course, we’ve had Ronald as a staple. We celebrated the birth of Grimace. We’ve had our Ham Burgled. But we haven’t had the most anticipated comeback such as the beloved Mac Tonight.

A character that has influenced generations ever since he played on our heartstrings (and keys). Influencing vaporwave and retro wave culture. Mac was gone, but never forgotten.

I am calling on all McDonalds and vibe lovers to help bring back the epitome of Mickey D’s culture back into the spotlight.
