Hello Petition Supporters,

My name is Alexandra, and I'm on the Civic Engagement team at Change.org. Our team works to connect petition starters and supporters with the public officials who have the power to act on the issues you care about. Last week, I reached out Helen McPeak, who is the Executive Director of the Wilson County Tennessee State Fair to share petition supporters’ concerns. 

The Fair’s leadership emphasized that every year, once the event concludes, the team reviews feedback and evaluates ways to improve for the following year — a tradition they’ve maintained over the 46 years of hosting the fair.

Ms. McPeak also shared that the fair is always designed to keep Wilson County and its unique culture at the center of the experience, while also incorporating elements from across Tennessee. The goal is to celebrate the local community while sharing it with neighbors from around the state.

This petition, along with any feedback and responses, will be reviewed as part of that evaluation process. Fair officials stressed that input from the community matters and is welcomed as they plan future events.
