The playground at Whitchurch Library Gardens has long been a space for children and families to gather, play, and enjoy the outdoors. However, much of the equipment is now outdated, with some pieces broken and in need of repair. As a result, many children are opting to visit newer parks, like Caedelyn, leaving this once-popular space underused and neglected.

This petition is a call to action to revitalise the playground and bring it back to life. We’re asking for repairs to the damaged equipment and for new, exciting features to be added, such as more swings, new climbing frames, revitalised benches, accessible play equipment, and a zip line! A refreshed playground would not only provide a safe and engaging space for children to play but would also serve as a welcoming hub for the whole community to come together.

Whitchurch Library Gardens has the potential to be a vibrant and thriving space again, but we need your support to make this happen.
