It's time to demand change and demolish Drexel’s clinical makeup mandates.

As some of you may know, Drexel nursing students are required to pay $200 per missed clinical for absences including illness. Since most college students don’t have an extra $200, we are faced with the moral dilemma of spreading sickness and risking the lives of immunocompromised patients. This needs to change. 

Drexel needs to stop risking people’s lives. Nursing is about advocacy and Drexel has to advocate for their students and patients. We need your help.

Please sign this petition so that we can bring it to the College of Nursing and Health Professionals to demand revision of the policy. If we take the average amount that Drexel is profiting off of this cost ($23,000) we can divide this between the 1,150 nursing students and take only $20 out of everyones tuition. Making this change would protect our students and our patients. 

No one should have to pay to be sick.
