Thank you for supporting this petition. I have now submitted it to Angela Rayner who is Secretary of State for Housing, Communities, and Local Government.

I hope that she will give it proper consideration. The government's recent decisions regarding local government reorganisation already require the Boundary Commission to examine the boundaries around other places whose built-up areas extend across existing council boundaries - so the same principle should be applied to Stamford!
