Thank you for supporting this petition.

It is now clear that boundary change requests will not be considered by government as part of the  reorganisation plans which are due to be announced in July, but they might be considered as a separate issue after that - if there is a strong enough case put forward. This petition will not therefore be presented to the Secretary of State until after the July decisions have been announced.

This gives us more time to campaign for it.

Reviewing this boundary will remain an issue whichever options the government chooses for new councils involving Leicestershire, Rutland, & Lincolnshire.

We've now over 600 signatures, but the more we have the stronger our case.  Please continue to share the petition to friends, family, and neighbours.
