Dear All. After 11 weeks of campaigning, we are pleased to announce that we are taking 'A Moment for Miriam' to London tomorrow. We will visit Westminster first, meet with Mark Williams MP, then to Downing Street to hand the petition over at No. 10. Every single signature has made a difference and everyone of you have helped us to get this petition to Theresa May PM. All 109,114 of you. Thank you all very much. The disbelief and devastation of losing Miriam has remained with us every day since that fateful evening, and we will grieve for her for the rest of our lives. We will never get over losing her like we did, when we did.......and the hardest part about accepting Miriam’s death is the knowledge that it was avoidable. His actions have not only changed our lives as a family, but Eric her partner, his family, her friends and the local community. We really do hope that the government reacts appropriately to our petition and gives it, and the debate that follows it, a response that is reflected in future legislation.
