에버랜드 티익스프레스의 이름을 [모니모 러쉬]로 변경하는 것을 극히 반대합니다.

티익스프레스는 에버랜드에 위치한 전국 1대 우든 코스터로, 18년 동안 많은 사람들에게 스릴 넘치는 경험을 선사해 왔습니다. 최근 에버랜드 운영진은 삼성과 공동으로 개발한 앱 홍보를 위해 놀이기구 이름을 [모니모 러시]로 변경하기로 결정했습니다. 하지만 이러한 이름 변경은 에버랜드 전체는 물론, 수많은 한국인들의 추억이 담긴 놀이기구 자체에도 최악의 결과를 초래할 것으로 보입니다. [모니모 러시]라는 이름은 가족 단위 방문객에게 더 어울릴 법한데, 티익스프레스는 결코 가족 친화적인 놀이기구가 아닙니다. 게다가 이 놀이기구는 유럽풍 기차 여행을 테마로 한 "유러피언 어드벤처" 구역에 위치해 있는데, 새로운 이름은 이러한 테마를 완전히 무시하고 구역과 공원 전체의 조화로움을 해치는 불필요한 공백을 만들어냅니다. "티 익스프레스"라는 이름은 수많은 한국인과 외국인들의 머릿속에 깊이 새겨져 에버랜드뿐 아니라 테마파크 역사에서도 상징적인 랜드마크가 되었습니다. 인타민이 설계한 전설적인 4대 목재 롤러코스터 중 하나이자 가장 스릴 넘치고 강렬한 롤러코스터로 널리 알려진 티 익스프레스는 처음부터 웅장한 걸작이 될 운명이었는데, [모니모 러쉬]는 그 웅장한 이름에 걸맞은 위엄을 앗아갔습니다. 비록 SKT(티 익스프레스의 첫 스폰서)와의 스폰서십이 종료되었더라도, 원래 제안되었던 [알파인 익스프레스]라는 이름으로 바꾸는 것이 지역적 특성, 테마, 그리고 전반적인 분위기에 훨씬 더 잘 어울렸을 것입니다. 슬프게도 우리는 역사와 유산을 보존하기보다는 주머니 속 몇 푼 더 챙기는 데만 혈안이 된 기업들로 가득 찬 세상에 살고 있습니다. 이번 새로운 스폰서십 때문에 이 나라에서 가장 스릴 넘치는 롤러코스터의 이름이 [모니모 러쉬]로 바뀌었고, [알파인 익스프레스]라는 이름은 사용되지 못하게 되었습니다. 이러한 이름 변경이 이기적이고 불필요하다고 생각하시고, 1) 롤러코스터 이름을 T 익스프레스로 되돌리거나 2) 원래 제안되었던 이름인 알파인 익스프레스로 변경해야 한다고 생각하신다면, 청원서에 서명해 주세요.

T Express is an extreme wooden coaster located in South Korea's Everland that has been thrilling guests for 18 years. Recently, the Everland management team has decided to change the ride's name to [Monimo Rush], aiming to promote an app with Samsung, who also partially own the park. This change however, is absolutely one of the worst things that could ever happen to this park in general and the ride itself, in addition to the memories it has made for a lot of Korean citizens. The name [Monimo Rush] sounds like more of a fit for a family attraction, which T Express is absolutely not. This ride also is located in a themed section of the park where it is supposed to be a train ride through european scenary, hence the name of the area "European Adventure." However, the new name completely disregards this theme and creates an unnecessary gap in the area as well as the park in terms of cohesiveness. The name "T Express" has been engraved in millions and millions of Koreans' heads as well as many foreigners, making it an iconic landmark not only in Everland but also theme park history. Being one of the 4 legendary Intamin Prefabricated wooden coasters and widely considered to be the most wild and intense one, T Express was always destined to be an imposing masterpiece of a ride, and [Monimo Rush] takes the aspect of an imposing name fit for an imposing ride away. Even if the sponsorship with SKT ended (the first sponsors of T Express), they could've renamed the ride to the original proposed name [Alpine Express], which fits in with the area, theme and general atmosphere much better. We sadly live in a world filled with money-hungry corporations that only care about a few extra dollars in their pockets instead of preservation of history, legacy and more. This new sponsorship is the sole reason we have [Monimo Rush] become the new name for the country's wildest roller coaster, and also why we didn't get to see the name [Alpine Express] in use. Please sign the petition if you believe this change is selfish and unnecessary, and if they should either 1)revert the coaster's name to T Express or 2)rename the coaster to its original proposed name, Alpine express.
