The Trump Administration is reversing 100 environmental laws. Right now, 68 have been completed and 32 are in progress of being dismantled. 

We need to stop them from inflicting damage to our planet. The TA has called these precious laws "burdensome" and "unnecessary" to the fossil fuel industry and other businesses, as if making sure we don't burn up our planet is a chore you don't want to do. They are irresponsible and short sighted in their goals, and do not understand that the economy is not permanent and money isn't something you can eat, drink, or breathe. 

These rules govern clean air, water, and regulate toxic chemicals. The TA has weakened protections for more than half of the nation's wetlands. Meanwhile, the Interior Department is opening up more land for oil and gas by cutting back protected areas and limiting wildlife protection. Let me make things clear: we are not the only ones on this planet. We have a responsibility and obligation to share the resources and respect wildlife and nature.

This is something we will be directly affected by. Already, people are suffering. Just two years ago disaster struck in the form of Hurricane Maria. Compelled by climate change, about 3,000 Puerto Ricans died. This is not a joke, a hoax, a theory. Climate change is real and deadly, and by rolling back these environmental regulations, we are perpetuating it's damage. 

According to energy and legal analysts, Trump's environmental rollbacks dramatically increase greenhouse gas emissions and can lead to thousands of extra deaths due to poor air quality. This is coming from the same president who claims to be a "champion" for the environment, and serves the American people. Clearly, based by his actions, he does not.
