Reverse Decision to Displace Ukrainians from Ballybunion

Reverse Decision to Displace Ukrainians from Ballybunion
The Issue
The Ballybunion community is deeply concerned by the decision of Anton Treacy, the owner of the Golf Hotel, Ballybunion and the Government to abruptly displace over 60 Ukrainians from the hotel who have made Ballybunion their home, over the past several years, contributing positively to the local community. Their imminent eviction has left many of them without a place to call home in the area. The vacated spaces will reportedly be filled by International Protection Applicants.
This decision has caused unnecessary distress among these families and the local community. This is a plea for just and humane treatment of these unfortunate people and recognition of their established lives in Ballybunion.
We are asking for your signature to urge Anton Treacy and the Government to reconsider this abrupt displacement, and to engage in dialogue with the local community.
