In a turn of events at the 12/11/2025 City of Conroe council meeting, the $1,303 fee was reverted to $35 until January when the fee structure can be revisited to agree on a more reasonable fee change. 

This was a big win, as it allows some events that had already been planned for the month of January to continue, and showed that the council was willing to negotiate with the citizens on a more fair fee structure. 

Thank you for all of the support. We will keep this petition open until the fee is actually settled upon with a new price, to keep gaining traction and signatures for this cause.
