Soooo, Today Liverpool City Council voted unanimously to carry the motion forward in order to develop and introduce a cloth nappy incentive scheme for Liverpool families… as a direct result of this petition! Not to mention the huge efforts from Liverpool Cloth Nappy Library for following this through and giving an amazing speech in the council meeting to seal the deal! 

I would like to thank everyone who voted in this petition which has really helped to show support for this scheme!

Hopefully this will help to make cloth nappies more accessible for families in Liverpool by easing the blow of the initial costs. This will save so many disposable nappies from landfill or incineration. As well as helping with Liverpool City Councils goal of becoming waste free by 2030.
