Danny Dyer, Dani Dyer and Becky Hill Join Our Stop the Sewage Protest

Good morning,

We have some exciting news to share. On Sunday 20 September, SOS Whitstable will be holding our Stop the Sewage protest in Leysdown-on-Sea—and we will be joined by a fantastic line-up of speakers:

Danny Dyer — actor
Dani Dyer — television personality
Becky Hill — singer and songwriter
Cliff Roney — GMB activist and water-industry veteran
Ash Smith — founder of Windrush Against Sewage Pollution

Together, we will call for an end to sewage pollution and the return of the water industry to public ownership.

More than 316,000 of you have signed this petition, sending a powerful message that water should be run for people and the environment, not private profit. Now we have an opportunity to take that message beyond the petition and make our demand impossible to ignore.

There is limited parking at the venue. Once it is full, extensive parking is available in the center of Leysdown, approximately a 5–10 minute walk from the protest.

We want the government and the water industry to see just how strongly the public feels about the damage being done to our rivers, beaches, and seas.
