Around 9am a police officier was by to discuss with Mike about his claim. He would likely be offered a refund (Jeanine told him 4 days earlier she would and didn't) or continue to file. 

Nearly immediately afterwards, Jeanine sent Mike an etransfer and a message. Our hearts were likely numbing our brains, we refused the money. This is about rescue dogs being taken from good homes, deceit, misdirection, and causing unnecessary heartbreak.
