Retire Josh Allen's Jersey From Wyoming Football Post-MVP Win

The Issue

As one born and raised in the great state of Wyoming, I am proud to be part of a community that values hard work, respectability, and common sense, hand in hand with a healthy dose of humor. We're not stuck in the past as some might believe; we're proud folks who honor exceptional achievements. One such achievement is that of our very own Josh Allen.

Josh Allen, an adopted Wyomingite, has achieved remarkable success in the field of football, bringing immense pride to his adopted home state. He was instrumental in leading the Wyoming Cowboys to several victories during his tenure. Following his collegiate success at Wyoming, he has continued to shine and STLL brightly shines in his professional career. His recent win of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award has taken his story, and our pride, to a level beyond, proving that Wyoming can produce top-tier talent that can compete on a national stage.

It's thus only fitting that he should be duly honored in Wyoming, to inspire future generations of athletes. We should retire Josh Allen's jersey from Wyoming football – a gesture that represents not only the recognition of his individual success, but that of us Wyomingites and ALL who have supported him.

And so, we, the proud fans of Wyoming, respectfully urge the Wyoming Athletic Department to consider this honorable move. You can join us in this campaign by signing this petition. Let our voices be heard. Show the world that Wyoming stands tall, proud, and above all, together in respect for our own. Please sign this petition today.
