The crime still haunts me in my sleep

It was supposed to be a summer job. Nothing more.

I was just a young man, and I had no idea what I was walking into. But 25 years later, the crime still haunts me in my sleep.

I worked in a taxpayer-funded animal experimentation laboratory.

I’d like to share my story with you on Giving Tuesday.

During my internship, I hoisted a small female pig, upside down, by her hind legs.

When the professors instructed us to "restrain the specimen" against her will, we forcibly strapped her down. Then, we penetrated her skull with electrodes.

One frightened female urinated all over the cold table in fear, knowing these were the final moments of her awful life.

Trust me: you don't forget the sound of a pig screaming in your ear — even a quarter century later.

It was a horrifying experience. But it was also the BEST THING that ever happened to me. It’s why I founded White Coat Waste Project.

It’s why you and I have since defunded and defeated more government labs than any other group… from cutting dog testing to its lowest ever level, to ending the #1 cat lab in the entire federal government: USDA’s Kitten Slaughterhouse!

It’s also why I’m writing you on Giving Tuesday. If you send $5, $10, $25, or even $100 before 11:59pm, a very generous benefactor will match it to help us raise a combined $200,000!

“The NIH funds most of the basic medical research in the United States and beyond. This research takes place at universities and medical Schools in all 50 states.” -NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH

One of the technicians in my lab once told me about what he did to a small mammal after a different experiment had finished.

White Coat: “I injected her hind legs with Ketamine to paralyze her from the waist down. Then, I put her in the sink, closed the drain… and slowly turned the faucet on.”

Me: “Why would you do that?!?”

White Coat: “Because she was mine—my property. I could do anything I wanted to her… and it was funny.”

Back then, I had no idea that our government was forcing us to pay $20 billion in taxes for sadistic “science” like this.

And I definitely didn’t know that my paycheck was being redistributed to my own college professors for it!

As I write this on Giving Tuesday, at my alma matter, the University of Pennsylvania — an elite, Ivy League school with a massive endowment — college professors are robbing us to torment up to 1,050 dogs.

  • Bred to Suffer: they intentionally breed puppies to have a rare genetic skeletal disorder, kill them, and study their thorax and tiny skulls. They’re only 9 days old!
  • Open YOUR Wallet:  $11.4 million in taxes to study a drug that’s already approved for people.
  • Above the Law: entitled Penn professors illegally refuse to disclose how much they’re raking in. They don’t even bother to follow federal law!

Professors like this are out of control. They think your money is an entitlement… like Social Security!

So today we’ve launched a brand-new campaign to shatter their entitlement culture and systematically hold the tax-and-spend, rogue professors accountable.

It’s called Rogue Lab Rollback. With your Giving Tuesday gift, we will:

Because when the money stops, the killing stops!

We took our campaign to Sen. Joni Ernst. She said: “The COST Act will guarantee Americans can see how their hard-earned tax dollars are being spent and decide for themselves whether or not the price is right.”

She’s spot on. But this is a 50-state scandal. It requires a hefty, 50-state campaign budget. And we have an extremely TIME-SENSITIVE matching grant deadline TONIGHT at 11:59pm.

MIDNIGHT DEADLINE: to roll back rogue labs, punish the professors, and end the entitlement culture, we must raise $200,000. All Giving Tuesday donations before midnight are matched!

So please rush $5 or your most generous Giving Tuesday donation to fully fund our Rogue Lab Rollback plan by 11:59pm tonight.

Thank you for the opportunity to share my story.

It wasn’t easy to write this. But our new campaign and Giving Tuesday matching opportunity is too important… and too urgent.

P.S. Giving Tuesday: I started WCW out of my own pocket to deliver an annihilating strike to the abusers I witnessed. But Rogue Lab Rollback costs a lot… and I can’t fund it alone. Please rush a special Giving Tuesday gift before midnight and it will be matched.

P.P.S. A generous benefactor was so moved by my story, that he’s stepping up to double every dollar you send before 11:59pm. But I need to report back to him tomorrow. Follow this secure link. Thanks - AB
