Westfield Advocates Continues to Champion for Responsible Development that maintains appropriately scaled buildings, lots of green space, and classic suburban character of Our Town.

Let's make our VOICES heard and our VOTES count to ward off the wave of projects that threaten to overwhelm the scale and density of our neighborhoods and homes.

This is the Time to Contact both the Candidates for the Town Council (TC) and current TC to let them know that block buildings up to 6 stories tall with  footprints over 25,000 square feet are NOT the way to maintain the charm and future value of Westfield.

There are more mixed-use developments requesting to add residential apartments coming before the Planning Board every month. These developers continue to apply for zoning variances to bulk up and increase density. Variances granted usually have impacts on our infrastructure - like traffic, noise, air, storm and sewer management.  

Please continue to support the mission and activities of Westfield Advocates, and choose your local Council representatives on whether they would prioritize the quality of life currently enjoyed by Westfield's residents and families or encourage urban scale commercial activity and congestion.
