Hello all,
Thank you ALL for the tremendous effort last evening 1/31/2023 at the Town Council meeting where the One Westfield Place Redevelopment Plan was introduced----for those who came to the meeting, watched on FB, and those who spoke to the Town Council. Your words were on point and specific and identified many of the problems with this proposed plan, whether physical planning, financial, or related to environmental impacts. It is clear the 150 plus page Redevelopment Plan, released publicly via the town website Sunday night, January 29th, only 48 hours before the meeting revealed further changes in the zoning and bulk that had not been described in any of the FAQs or FB live presentations or even at the Preview Center. So much for transparency and open dialogue. (Or was it yet another monologue last night by the Town Council)
Please gear up for the Planning Board meeting on February 6th - you need to be there IN PERSON, for another long night.
Please continue to have residents, neighbors, friends sign the petition, our numbers are growing--we are a train that won't be stopped.
