DC comics used to be one of the greatest companies of all time in general. They have made such Iconic characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Robin, Rorschach and Dr. Manhattan and many more. And their characters and stories have inspired some of the best movies and TV shows ever made in the history of cinema such as, Batman 1989, Superman 1978, The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, Batman V Superman, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, The Batman 2022, Batman The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited, HBO’s Watchmen and the list goes on 

However, in the beginning of the 2010s. DC comics went downhill after the storyline called Flashpoint. Flashpoint reseted the whole entire DC universe with the New 52 

The New 52, even though it was a success. It has made many old school DC fans upset. By changing a lot of the characters that they loved. So DC decided to fix those issues with DC Rebirth. It was a comic that was meant to fix all of the problems that the New 52 had. It almost seemed like DC is finally going to get it right and that Geoff Johns is fixing everything he broke. But it was all ruined in the end, thanks to the reveal that Dr. Manhattan was the one who created the New 52 universe. DC fans had mixed reactions to this. While Watchmen fans everywhere were upset, and rightfully so. 

Because what came after DC Rebirth was Doomsday Clock     

Doomsday Clock is not a sequel to Watchmen. It is a disgrace to Watchmen. It represents everything that is wrong with the comics industry. It is a disgrace to Alan Moore. A man who wanted to make comics into high art. And it is a disgrace to DC comics as well. What makes Doomsday Clock a insult to Watchmen is that it is a sequel to Watchmen but it is a Superhero Reconstruction. However, The Original Watchmen is a Superhero Deconstruction, so it basically destroys the purpose of Watchmen and it ruins it's realistic world

But the point is, This isn't just about retconning Doomsday Clock. It's about DC comics becoming better. I am so sick and tired of DC disrespecting Watchmen and all of their classic comics and characters. 

So If you're not a fan of Watchmen or Alan Moore, you should still sign this petition because it is about saving both Watchmen and DC comics. 

Because I want to make DC great again 

Here are a few ideas on how we can save DC comics

Make a comic accurate Adrian Chase Vigilante TV show. Because Adrian Chase is a awesome character in the comics. He was a awesome mix between The Punisher and Daredevil. James Gunn ruined Adrian Chase in Peacemaker. But we can fix that. 

 

Restoring the SnyderVerse. Because Zack Snyder's movies have gotten a cult following ever since the Release The Snyder Cut campaign and now more then ever, fans want to see Zack Snyder finish his 5 movie story arc.

Make a live action Wild Dog show 

 

Bring Back StarGirl and Doom Patrol and Black Lightning and Young Justice, Because these shows were great and they didn't deserve to get cancelled 

The Question TV show, because The Question is such a underrated character. Imagine a fantastic superhero crime drama TV show about a detective with no face fighting crime and solving mysteries. That TV show will be a masterpiece just like Matt Reeves's the Batman    

Have Wallis Day as Batwoman and make a Batwoman TV show reboot or make a TV show about the Batman Family and serve it as a tribute to Kevin Conroy. Why a Batwoman TV show reboot? because the Batwoman TV show we got, was not a good TV show. I also think that it should ether be connected to the Matt Reeves Batman universe or why not make a adult animated series. I am sure that people would love to see that. 

Make a better sequel to the Dark Knight Returns. Because The Dark Knight Strikes Again was not a good book. We should also make a remake of All Star Batman and Robin the boy wonder. Because All Star Batman and Robin was terrible 

Bring back a lot of Obscure characters 

A new animated DC comics universe about the golden age of DC comics. Because I want to see a animated film universe about the classic golden age of DC comics with the folks behind the amazing Watchmen TV show and Stargirl, working on these animated films 

A remake of the Flash year one, And have it be set in Frank Miller's Universe

Frank Miller's Superman year one remake. Because Superman Year One was terrible and everyone would like to see a better version of it. 

Releasing the Schumacher cut of Batman Forever

 

Superman lives animated film

Batman the white knight animated film 

Retcon Heroes In Crisis and Flash Forward 

Bring Alfred back from the dead. Because Alfred didn't deserve to die

Make more DC comics anime 

Bring back the original Teen Titans Cartoon Network show. The Original Teen Titans Cartoon Network TV show was so awesome that it was a shame that it ended on a cliffhanger and having a lot of the stories and character arcs be unfinished. 2 or 3 more seasons would be good enough to wrap it all up. Also Cancel Teen Titans Go as well

 

Give Barry Allen his Blue Lantern Ring back in a elseworlds story. Because, I think it would be a fun idea   

Make Lobo the animated series. Because why not.

Make a live action Catwoman reboot film. Because the first Catwoman movie was terrible 

An Animated Suicide Squad TV show based on the original 1987 comics  

Make Sideways a live action film 

Jessica Chastain as Poison Ivy 

Retcon Suicide Squad Get Joker! Graphic Novel, because of what it did to Wild Dog.

 

A animated The Killing Joke short film remake, because The Killing Joke animated film that we got was terrible. Why a short film? because the story itself doesn't work as a 1 hour film
