With a BC government decision expected very soon in March, it has now been revealed that Surrey's City staff were not involved at all with negotiating the expensive Surrey Police Service contract!  How Surrey taxpayers can be on the hook for this contract when the staff who run the City were not even involved is yet another example of why the smartest, safest and least expensive thing to do is retain the Surrey RCMP and end the costly SPS experiment.  Please urge the Province to do the right thing by signing this petition and encouraging others to do the same - before a decision is made!
