What a year this has started out to be. A lot has happened in parade world since I left an update. I knew it took a lot to put on a parade but there are new regulations I will call them if you will. Also that stuff called money and insurance.. It's still way to early to say anything either way but I have learned a tremendous amount of information and I have talked to some important people and I will say the wheels are turning in a direction. So please keep the faith and Mother Goose alive. Yeahhhhhh!!!!

If you are interested in helping me bring back the Mother Goose parade in any shape or form I am determined to get the Goose back where she belongs. I am calling on the community for help. Spread the word. If you have any information on where the Mother Goose parade floats or etc. are being stored please can you call me. If you have any information or want to help by volunteering your time to bring back the goose. If you know of someone that wants to help in any shape or form. Please give me a call. 11/25/24 Update.........I am steering this petition in a different direction but in hopes it will still produce the same outcome. I have added Daryl Priest the president and title sponsor of the parade. In hopes this petition reaches him and he knows that the mother Goose parade is missed and loved and wanted back. I myself want to help the association any way I can to see her back up where she belongs in all her glory. I am hoping to meet with him and see how we can help. As an avid attendee of the annual Mother's Goose Parade for several years, either as a child or with my own children, its cancellation is deeply personal and unacceptable. This is not just a mere event, but a cherished tradition that forms the bedrock of our community spirit and unity. Our city has the necessary funds to host the parade. Moreover, there exists a robust network of dedicated volunteers who have willingly offered their time and effort to bring the parade to life, symbolic of the deep roots the parade holds in our hearts. It is truly disheartening to see such a beloved tradition be halted. Let's join hands to urge our city officials to recognize the significance of the Mother's Goose Parade and take immediate action to reinstate it. A sign of your support will not just bring back a parade but a piece of our community spirit that has been unjustly taken away.
