My fervent love for Wario, one of the most colorful characters in the Mario franchise, is no secret. I, like many others, was uniquely thrilled when Baby Wario came into the picture in Yoshi's Island DS. This game introduced us to a fun, adorable, and inherently Wario-like character who quickly stole our hearts. However, since then, Baby Wario hasn't shown up in any subsequent games, leaving a Wario-shaped hole in our gaming experiences. To date, Yoshi's Island DS remains the sole appearance of Baby Wario, which simply isn't enough for us fans.

Although his character is driven by greed, mirroring our classic Wario, there's much more that we don't know about him. Further exploration of Baby Wario’s character could lend depth to the narrative, fleshing out the beloved Mario universe. It is disheartening to see the other baby characters reappearing regularly, while Baby Wario seemingly fades into oblivion. We urge the creators of Yoshi's Island DS and respective stakeholders in the Mario franchise to bring back and enrich the narrative of Baby Wario.
