On Monday, our cause was the lead news item on TV3's The Project. You can see the interview here. It features an appearance by the original winking eye of Auckland's Giant Santa.
The campaign also featured on Radio New Zealand's The Panel. Despite early scepticism, all panellists were eventually won over by the strength of the case for the restoration of a winking, beckoning Santa. You can listen to that interview here (sorry about the audio quality).
There are a few more media interviews scheduled in the next few days. Momentum is growing for the return of Auckland's true, canonical giant Santa.
