Disney took over the rights to Star Wars and the movies and the new shows should not be canon. Here are my reasons: When George Lucas signed the rights away he had a few ideas that he gave Disney for the sequels but... they discredited his ideas and decided that it would be cool, to remove the significance of the first 6 movies! By bringing Palpatine back! You may be asking who is Palpatine and why is he back. Palpatine is a Sith Lord whom Darth Vader killed to protect his son Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader become Anakin Skywalker once again fulfilling the prophecy of the chosen one. To bring the evil Sith Lord back after being thrown down the Death Star Chasm and the having the Death Star blow up afterwards is simply the move an incompetent nincompoop. In what world is that old Sith Lord alive? Why can he be cloned? Make it make sense Disney! Why are there so many plot holes in the sequels, why is an object or artifact significant in the sequels? Last time I checked this is not Marvel or DC why are we glorifying objects? Star Wars is about the Force not some small pyraMIDs. You ruined Star Wars. SO for anyone who is a moderate to crazy Star Wars fan sign this petition and let's unite against Disney's wretched version of Star Wars.
