As an individual in the autistic community, I've found great comfort in consistent factors within my environment. Years ago, my father and I discovered the delicious Blackberry Mint flavor from Yerba Mate, and it quickly became an integral part of our routine. This flavor, now changed to Berrymint Bliss, was our favorite and was popular amongst several others as well.

It was always the most popular flavor in any store it was in. It was absolute perfection, one of the only MILDLY sweet cold fizzy drinks out there. And it was made of delicious yerba mate, which provides smooth energy as an alternative to coffee's jittery-ness. Even the colors and design on the can were gorgeous!

Then, without warning or consideration for loyal customers, the formula was changed. This decision not only broke our cherished routine, but also seemed to ignore the diverse needs of their consumer base: people like me who rely upon certain consistencies in their lives. Consumption rates of Yerba Mate products show the huge popularity of the brand amongst various demographics, so changes are bound to impact people in many unpredictable ways (source: Beverage Industry Reports).

For some, this may seem like a trivial matter, but for us, this change was significant. Subsequently, we beseech Yerba Mate to restore the original Blackberry Mint flavor. It would mean the world to us and would also uphold the company's reputation for understanding and acting on consumer needs and preferences. Please sign this petition to echo this plea for product stability.

EDIT:  I have also recently been informed that they did not only change the Blackberry Mint flavor, but ALL of their flavors. So I don't want to change the title because I already shared the title as a way for people to look it up, but this petition is officially STRONGLY suggesting that they change back ALL of their flavors to the previous formulas! And change the can designs back too! The new can designs are causing people to mistake it for alcohol in the hands of minors. It just makes life that slight bit harder, which is totally unnecessary.
