Hi there! Sorry for a long silence - I was hoping that extending the hours for just two months was a good start to move with the right direction. Many people came after hours and walked into the park bc it was still bright daylight! So now they are building a tall fence to prevent YOU and me, and any working people to walk into the park after their illegal arbitrary hours! This is the gate I used to get in and out if the park - they put a fence right on the path!!! This is beyond disgusting. This city government is acting against it's residents and I'm sure their next step will be charging the entrance fee which in violation of the original deed. They are not making sure that all the residents would have access to the beach, but on contrary preventing us from getting there! What kinda government is this? Please keep sharing this petition and come to the city meeting on Monday, October 10 at 5:30pm!!!
