• Summary: We express our support for the restoration and revitalization of the beloved Fun Farm into a TIAG community "HUB" for The Independent American Gardener collaborative, focused on sustainable living and local engagement with fun, exciting, family friendly activities, events, and interwoven education throughout. This initiative aims to bring back the joy and memories associated with the Fun Farm while integrating innovative permaculture practices by demonstration to benefit our community.
• Why This Matters: The Fun Farm has been a cherished landmark, filled with memories of mini-golf, plant galleries, Ice-cream, and community gatherings. Our vision is to restore it to its former glory with our own improved additions through Haven Permaculture design, creating a space where families can enjoy, learn, and thrive together, in support of local initiatives, Northwest Missouri college, main street Trenton small family business, the farmers market, and many more future generations to come. Preserving joy and sustainability in fun wholesome ways that align with the preservation of our American Farmers and Family Freedoms.

Key Features:

• Food Forest: A serene space with perennial food, medicinal herbs, and native productive species as demonstration for nature walks and educational purposes for youth and community exploration.
  Greenhouse Dine-In: A year-round greenhouse offering a cozy space for smoothies and learning surrounded by lush green plants, aquaponic systems, fish, and education, in all months of the year.
• Lulu’s Garden: A health food store, plant gallery and smoothie bar with locally sourced products from small scale organic growers and gardeners. Offering Insulated Horizontal Beehives, Natural Beekeeping supplies, fresh Raw harvest honey and hive products, and incorporating rooftop gardens and indoor study areas for students of northwest Missouri college right across the street.
• Event Center: Hosting family-friendly activities like mini-golf, indoor rain forest jungle gym, educational events, line dances, date nights, and community gatherings with hands on workshops.
• Haven Permaculture Students Design Lab: Supporting students of PDC courses and regenerative agriculture classes with mentorship & modern ecological studies, design software's and Equipment

We seek to establish Permaculture Demonstration projects such as:

• Gravity Fed Rain Catchment Systems throughout the property
• Agroforestry Systems inside and outside structures
• In-Ground Aquaponic systems
• Natural Beekeeping Demonstrations in the Food Forest and Rooftop
• Year Round Greenhouse Design and demonstration 
• Passive Solar and Wind Energy Capture
• Passive Solar Thermal energy Capture
• Geothermal system demonstrations
• Offgrid and grid tied solutions
• Cob and Earthen building design and implementation demonstrations and workshops
• Guest Educators such as Rob Avis, Uncle Mud, Jamon Mysliwiec, Lucian Toma, Joel Sallatin, Mark Shephard, Dr. Leo Sharashkin, and More from across the Regenerative Permaculture Education Space.
• We seek to produce food crops and resale local surplus in-house through in house modified CSA in support of the farmers market
• Provide raw, real, holistic seed, honey, and homestead goods for sale in house and throughout the TIAG community program in support of local small sustainable family businesses
• Insulated Horizontal Hive Building Workshops and Natural Beekeeping Demonstrations in person with experienced veterans

"walking in there was a "tree" house to the left. floor to ceiling. to the right was the start of mini gold. it was well cared for many years. even had one with water trap. lol, seemed like many balls ended up in the water. the games were in 3 areas. pinball room, big games like shooting and basic- PacMan, Atro, Centipede.......and don't forget the ice cream treat. they had several flavors to choose from, sometimes they had bubblegum ice cream. they owners did not put up with bad language or any trouble. they gave a warning but then you called a parent to come, or you had to just leave. a great place." - VH

"I was a part of the Country Fun Farm back when it was open, my parents, ______________ owned it. I enjoyed everything about it, my dad put his heart and soul into that place. He decorated with the things that had meaning to him. It was hard for them when it came time to have to close the doors. My boys got to enjoy playing mini golf, arcade games, air hockey and eating ice cream. We celebrated our boys birthdays there. We made lots of memories with family there! Would love to see it up and running again so my grandkids could enjoy it too. My dad(_______) has A VHS tape of the place that's about an hour and a half long.
