We were informed that our State Assembly session is coming to a close, unfortunately, that means our Recess Bill AB810 did not move forward. While this is extremely disappointing for us, this did give us an opportunity to gain media attention, provide more education, and increase our following.

What are our next steps?
We aren't done yet! We will be continuing to advocate for Wisconsin children, and to meet with legislators on how to enact healthy changes into law. Watch out for a new recess bill in the future legislative sessions! 

It comes as no surprise, but our education system is struggling and at this time recess is considered low priority for decision makers. We definitely don't disagree that there are many things that our educators need support with, however, children's health and well-being cannot be ignored either.

What do we need from our supporters?
Please continue this advocacy work with us! Keep talking to key stakeholders, keep sharing, and keep inviting others to our page. We need awareness so others can understand why this is so important for our children.
