We have exciting news! 

Representatives Pentermen, Dittrich, Goeben, and Behnke have introduced Assembly Bill 810, and Senator Cabral-Guevara has introduced Senate Bill 805. 

The two bills say the same thing - that 60 minutes of outdoor, unstructured recess will be mandated for Wisconsin public school students in grades K-6! It would also prevent recess from being taken away for disciplinary reasons. 

These legislators have heard our voices, and the voices of our children, and have responded. Thank you for signing this petition, and for sharing it with your friends and family. We could not have gotten this far without your help! 

The next step is to be heard by the rest of the State Congress. We know that many of our legislators agree that recess is important, but they need to know their constituents want that as well.
