The council voted in favor of the dog park at Peach Orchard Park on June 11, 2024, and are now in support of making the dog park permanent. The plans will be discussed at a closed council/staff meeting on July 23, 2024. If you are as passionate about returning Peach Orchard Park to all park users as we are, please continue to express your concerns to the mayor, council, and staff. Additionally, if you are worried about loose dogs in all areas of the park and the beach, please report it to the bylaw officer.
