Regarding Miss Kelly Shields

S173 SERGEANT KELLY SHIELDS – insisted father hand over Hariet 1 August 2024 without checking with physiotherapist which doctors had organised; doing X-ray against the father’s wishes in his knowledge of the Blue Book – which had repeatedly and in writing cleared Hariet from referral to doctor. Conceded to father’s comment that it’s only a “view” that Hariet needed an X-ray however did not protect Hariet from an unnecessary X-ray and rather forced it, saying to Paul she’d arrest him for “medical neglect” if he didn’t give Hariet to her; but for Shields’ intervention, Hariet would not have been caused medical trauma and distress (both X-ray and blood test in hand were done without Hariet’s parents there to hold her and comfort her when we had done this for her every previous immunisation appointment at Dubbo Early Health Clinic on Palmer Street, Dubbo); the father asked Shields to check with the clinic, but Shields refused; meanwhile Shield’s officers taunted and bullied Paul while he was holding Hariet; her officers male and female saying words close to “What kind of a father are you, refusing your own baby an X-ray!” when Hariet had no medical need for an X-ray; Shields was nowhere to be seen when the X-ray returned that Hariet was actually at 12-month development re hips acetabular index even though she was only 9 months old.
