Events this weekend in the coach and car park have highlighted the importance of our petition. On Friday afternoon more traveller families arrived at the coach park area and occupied the adjacent section. They have taken another 39 car parking spaces and fenced the whole area off so none of the car parking spaces can be used. 

Point 2 of the petition makes the point to DDDC quite clearly:
Take all possible precautions to ensure that the Station Car and Coach Park’s future users will only  be tourists, residents and rail passengers.

This is all part of the malaise and seeming contempt that Derbyshire Dales District Council seem to treat this important resource for the village, that they have not in the past installed whatever it takes to stop the wrongful use of this coach and car parking area. 

This weekend and for the foreseeable future until the necessary eviction papers have been served, this means that another 39 car loads of visitors to our village will NOT be able to stop. They all need to sign the petition - so please spread the word
