"I am calling on behalf of the Montclair State University Men’s and Women’s lacrosse teams and asking for your support in reinstating these programs. Our current petition has over 16,000 signatures. Tomorrow, a vote may make this decision permanent, stripping 70+ student-athletes of their NCAA dreams without warning. These students committed to Montclair State because of the program’s long history of success and now face an uncertain future. Please stand with them and help reverse this unjust decision."

💡 LATEST UPDATES WHERE WE STAND:
🔎 We are anxiously awaiting our OPRA request to gain financial transparency and explore creative solutions for funding. Our dialogue with the university remains open, and we are pushing for more answers, offering solutions and have are cautiously optimistic for change.
⚖️ We are also waiting on the NCAA’s decision regarding Montclair State’s restructuring after acquiring Bloomfield College. How will duplicative sports across different divisions under one athletic department work in terms of fairness and operations? Instead of repeating sports, shouldn’t the university expand opportunities and increase diversity in athletics?
There is a board meeting of trustees meeting where some more clarity in the decision making process along with MSU parents pleading to board for the reinstatement.
