This campaign was created as a response to many members giving feedback- they wanted the focus not on the volunteers, and instead on the CEO that serves at the pleasure of the members and subscribers.
There is no by-law requiring a certain number of signatures, with no strict rules on who can or cannot sign. We are pleading with our officers and directors to please listen to understand. Division like this does not happen organically in such a short time without some kind of catalyst.
The petition is not being sent to everyone on a ValleyMLS or HAAR membership list, rather, this is being shared organically outside of any list provided by these organizations. So we need help. You are a part of this, and the success of this campaign relies on each and every one of us sharing the message and encouraging our colleagues to sign if they support the message.
Please encourage any member, subscriber, or affiliate... anyone that contributes income to ValleyMLS or to HAAR, or anyone whose business is affected by this outcome. Both organizations are in jeopardy. Copy this link and text, email, Facebook message to anyone who might support this.
