We the residents of New England and Southern Downs and visitors to these regions are petitioning for cross border public transport connections to be restored. Our much needed public bus service connecting the Inland border regions of Qld and NSW was cut off during covid border closures. The services have not  been reinstated. We request in urgency public transport connections between Qld and NSW be immediately restored. We rely on cross border bus services to connect to health departments, business services, work and job requirements, general shopping, social opportunities and wellbeing as well as general traveling and tourism. Your attention to this urgent matter would be greatly appreciated. We humbly ask for our cross border bus service to be restored as soon as possible and the needs for cross border public transport connections to be reviewed.
