How fitting that the E&N Railway, the very symbol of National Unity tied to the creation of British Columbia and sealing the deal for Canada, has reached a huge 25,000 signature milestone on the 60th anniversary of our National Flag.

While essential and of strategic significance to Vancouver Island’s transportation system, restoring the railway could be a symbol of restored Canadian Resiliency and National unity!

Let’s keep growing the petition because from a pragmatic point of view, the best use of this corridor is clearly as a secondary route to move people and freight by train, with trails beside it for walkers and cyclists.
