After the maintenance on Wednesday, December 11, players who previously experienced matchmaking issues reported that queue times had significantly decreased. Players who were previously unable to find any matches also confirmed that they could now find matches without any problems.

Here’s a timeline of the issue:

  • September 19: The matchmaking problem began after the WB servers were disconnected from the NetEase Global servers during maintenance.
  • September 27: NetEase attempted to resolve the issue during maintenance but was unsuccessful.
  • November 16: A petition was created to address the issue.
  • November 19: The issue was partially resolved. Some affected players could play without problems, but others still experienced issues.
  • November 27: Global matchmaking was broken for all servers. Matches could only be made with players on the same server.
  • December 2: The global matchmaking issue was resolved, but the dueling bug persisted.
  • December 11: The dueling bug was fully resolved. NetEase mentioned the matchmaking fix in the Patch Notes.
