Day # 31
Hello everyone!
I just wanted to pop on here really quick and give you all an update. We’ve managed to reach 77 signatures after exactly one month from the start date, which is amazing- but we’ve got a long way to go! I appreciate all of you that have signed already, but please feel free to add any comment whatsoever onto the petition, which will help others make the decision on whether or not to come on as a supporter. Every Friday from now on, I will post an update concerning this petition- keeping in mind of holidays and university breaks, so please watch out for those.
Currently we have flyers up on the campus of Western Michigan University, but I hope to get flyers up in other places soon. If you know of any place to promote the petition, it would be greatly appreciated! Or just spreading the word can work too. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to email me, as my email is posted at the bottom of this update.
I know of several individuals impacted currently by homelessness, and I have lost someone that I found as an important piece of my journey and my life to hypothermia as a direct result of homelessness- which wouldn’t have happened if the government quit ignoring the facts of homelessness and took a stand to help those impacted. This loss has impacted me greatly, and I will do all that it takes to make sure it doesn’t happen again. With your support, you’re also pledging to not only stop homelessness- but support the thousands of lives that are at risk of the same fate.
Thank you!

Note: Also, please refrain from signing anonymously if you will, as your actual legal name will make twice the impact! Thank you!
