Resignation of Indian finance minister nirmala sitaraman
The Issue
To: The Honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi
Subject: Call for the Resignation of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman
We, the undersigned citizens of India, write this petition to express our deep concern regarding the current state of the Indian economy under the leadership of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
Over the past few years, we have observed several issues that have significantly impacted the economic stability and growth of our nation, including but not limited to:
Economic Slowdown: The GDP growth rate has shown a downward trend, affecting various sectors and leading to increased unemployment and financial distress for many citizens.
Inflation and Price Rise: The cost of essential goods and services has risen sharply, burdening the common man and eroding purchasing power.
Handling of the COVID-19 Pandemic: The financial measures taken during the COVID-19 pandemic have been widely criticized for being inadequate in supporting businesses and individuals facing economic hardships.
Taxation Policies: The introduction of complex and burdensome tax regulations has created challenges for small and medium-sized enterprises, stifling innovation and growth.
Public Sector Banks: The performance and stability of public sector banks have raised concerns, with increasing non-performing assets and instances of financial mismanagement.
In light of these and other concerns, we believe it is in the best interest of the nation to seek new leadership in the Ministry of Finance. We request Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consider our plea and take necessary action to ensure the appointment of a finance minister who can effectively address these challenges and steer India towards a path of sustained economic growth and prosperity.
We hope our voices will be heard and that appropriate measures will be taken to restore confidence in the economic governance of our country
