Resign North Whitehall Township Supervisor Dennis Klusaritz
Resign North Whitehall Township Supervisor Dennis Klusaritz
The Issue
North Whitehall Township Supervisor Dennis Klusaritz needs to resign! We moved into North Whitehall Township in February of 2001. My husband had a part time side business doing auto repair and maintenance since then. In 2013, he had started doing it full time due to health issues with our adult autistic son. We are on a 16 acre lot. Our neighbors are fully aware and don't have any issues with it. We have always reported his earnings, never hid the business and never had an issue with any of his other customers. My husband fully guarantees his work. Then in March or April of 2023, Supervisor Dennis Klusaritz in North Whitehall Township became a disgruntled customer. My husband suggested he take his vehicles to someone he felt he had more confidence in since he was dissatisfied. He had been getting his family's vehicles repaired by my husband since around 2021. Suddenly, we received a Cease and Desist letter and Notice of Violation from the township and were told by the Zoning Enforcement Officer Aubrey Miller that it was reported anonymously. It's now been found out with a 2 year legal battle that Supervisor Dennis Klusaritz was the anonymous individual that started this enforcement notice. Then, after we were approved to continue our business by the Zoning Hearing Board in September of 2023 the North Whitehall Township supervisors stepped in and appealed that decision to try and shut his business down. So now, over 2 years later and tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees, it's still not resolved. I can only imagine how much North Whitehall Township taxpayers are having their funds spent on this vindictive action taken by the Township led by Mr. Klusaritz. Compare this to how they treat a big warehouse going in on route 309. I'm hopeful anyone reading this will support my husband's business (Gene Weierbach's Auto) by showing up at the next hearing at LCCC at 7:00 on May 21st and signing a petition to have Dennis Klusaritz resign. Anybody reading this PLEASE SHARE and thank you!
