Judge Diana Kiesel, presiding in the Pierce County Superior Court, regrettably fails to issue protective rulings for the well-being of children. Her transfer from criminal court, due to a history of flawed decisions, only highlights the unsettling practice of placing such judges in family court, where their influence can negatively impact families.

Tragically, Judge Kiesel's decisions often place children in jeopardy by allowing known domestic violence abusers to have access, disregarding her own orders, and unjustly separating children from caring parents. A disconcerting trend emerges as most of her rulings appear to favor men, raising concerns about the equity of her judgments.

I recently encountered a court employee at a park who echoed my sentiments, further validating the issues surrounding Judge Kiesel. Her forgetfulness, as demonstrated by her inability to remember participants' names during lengthy trials, only adds to the growing list of concerns, a disconcerting experience I have personally endured.

We must hold Judge Kiesel accountable for her wrongful decisions and work towards having them overturned. Our collective voice can pave the way for a more just, responsible, and competent judge, ideally of a younger generation, who prioritizes the protection of families and children. The unjust circumstances within the Pierce County Courthouse in Washington demand a remedy.
