Petition: Sub-Council Amendment Proposal

Well with less than 24 hours to go to close off, we are 196 petitions away from 1000 petitions and 9196 petitions short of our target of 10 000. With an estimated 18 000 residents per ward, we are significantly short and once again, we can only appeal to various residents to assist this community further. Whilst I have been thanked for bringing this to the communities attention, I have been reminded much to my horror, that the concerns raised are mine alone and are far from indicative of this communities sentiment and that we should sit back and allow the various representatives the opportunity to formulate a broader and more community spirited response. Whilst appeals for assistance from various community based organisations within this area have clearly fallen on deaf ears (as a result of lack of response and or community drive and exposure) this petition has been shared and shared throughout this community, by a few likeminded residents, who need to know their individual efforts and support in this important matter is and will always be appreciatted. To those who have completed such an on-line petition, those that have directed an email to the city and most importantly the admin's of the various neighbourhood face book interest groups that allowed me access to their members directly, please do accept my humblest appreciation for this support, but my greatest fear is that without the support of the greater community, we may have just wasted our time and energy. Once such a decision has been finalised I will and becomes public knowledge I will communicate this to one and all, but in the interim know that we have untill 4pm tomorrow to reach our 1st 1000 or more, so at this time – in our final hour lets give it one last push, sharing and sharing again. Don’t be afraid to ask your neighbours to please support this objection and at best, just to complete such an objection by clicking the petition link. Every voice needs to be heard as every voice does and should always count.
