Dear Madam,

We would like to thank you for announcing free distribution of foods through Public Dustribution System and Ration Shops, by this all the Ration Card Holders of the State of West Bengal can get their rations free of cost from their respective ration shops as per the circular but we, the holders of RKSY-ll ration card holders are allocated only 1kg of rice & 1kg of wheat @ Rs 13/- & Rs 9/- only for the month.

This quantity of ration will not fullfill our monthly requirements.

In this pandemic situation we all have the right to live and fulfil our basic needs for sustainence without any discrepancy hence It is our earnest request you to distribute all the required commodities like Rice & Wheat in equal quantities and free of cost as others to all the ration card holders without any classifications.

You are requested to look into this aspect on humanitarian grounds.
