In an increasingly polarized Canadian society, now more than ever it’s important to focus on what unites us and brings us all together.

In the span of four days yet another issue has divided Canadians into two camps. Regardless of which one you feel you have more in common with, I would bet it’s reasonable to say that you love our country, appreciate our veterans, and are thankful for all of the sacrifices they have made both past and present.

Currently, the provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, PEI, and all three Territories: Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut all recognize the 11th of November as a statutory holiday.

Remembrance Day should unite all of us!

Is there a time that’s more appropriate for us to come together and reflect on the past, and hope for our future than on this very important day?

Please sign the petition if you are in favour of Ontario joining the rest of Canada, in making Remembrance Day a statutory holiday.
