State Rep. Matt Maddock was elected to serve in the Michigan House of Representatives in November 2018. He represents the 44th District, which includes the residents of Highland Township, White Lake Township, Springfield Township, Milford Township, the Southwest section of Waterford Township, as well as the Village of Milford. In 2016 Matt played an instrumental role in the election of President Donald Trump, organizing the largest Trump Campaign office in the state.  

He and his wife (Meshawn) participated in the storming of the capitol in Washington D.C. on Jan. 6 along side rioting and the violent attack on members of Congress in an attempt to overturn Donald trumps defeat in the 2020 presidential election. According to several news outlets, this pair also conducted bussing to bring loads of other people to join them in this atrocity.   

No matter which party you belong to or candidate you support these people incited domestic terrorism  and have no place to have any position of power in our community. This couple and the President has made a mockery of our most sacred institutions including the peaceful transfer of power. 

Over the summer Meshawn Maddock, his wife was videotaped screaming hateful words to peaceful YOUTH BLM protestors in Milford. It's important for the adults to be examples for our youth and this pair of husband and wife is very far from it. We must empower our youth to use their voice and not let vengeful politicians suppress the voices of our community. 

I can only imagine she was going out there to voice the opinion of not only her own but her husbands as well but went alone to save face for Mr. Maddock. It is our job as members of the community and residents of Michigan to stand up for our youth, our community, and speak up against injustices.
