The planning committee has refused the application for the 350 houses. This was down to the excellent work by Tom Newcombe and the Parish Council in creating a robust neighbourhood plan, and to everyone who has signed this petition and written letters into the planning department. Of course there is the right to appeal by the developer, so we are not out of the woods yet, but a big thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy lives to defend and support our village.
